The waist measurement on this skirt will fall above your normal waist, between you waist and underbust since it's a high waisted design. Keep this in mind when picking a size since you can likely subtract 2" from your normal waist measurement. It is also stretch denim so you can also expect the ability to subtract 1-2" in stretch if you'd like a tight fit.
